UPITUP NEWS: New album by Cosmic Analog Ensemble out!

Dear friends of the internets,

after many delays due to his endless wanderings across the globe, the Cosmic Analog Ensemble has finally joined us with a brand new album, "Navigations Nocturnes: The Mundane and The Cosmic Vol. 5-6" - a perfect soundtrack for this summer which is now available for your free downloading pleasure (as always!), so click here and live happily ever after.

CAE's tunes are all kinds of rugged, bearded and fly. The album was recorded in Beirut/ Lebanon, Nairobi/ Kenya, Montreal/ Canada, New Cross/ UK, Paris/ France. Many places but just one guy: Charif Megarbane played drums, piano, classical/acoustic/electric/bass guitar, oud, Akai MPC 2000 & 500, keys, flutes, melodica, harmonica, xylophone, percussion... you name it! And if you want more you can find the rest of the Cosmic and the Mundane series on his Bandcamp Hisstology page.

And it's just begun, we haz some more exciting news:

On the 24th of June Upitup will register as a non-profit society, and we'll have a block party in the heart of Stuttgart to celebrate the event with live music by Tracky, Roglok, Pierlo (Rome), Isocore and Jacques (Liverpool). DJs Konrad Kuhn and Manuel "M-Boy" Buerger will even make the cops start to wiggle.

Also, we will present our first vinyl release there!!! "Dub Pets" by UNION JACQUES will be officially released June 24th. As if THAT wasn't enough, it's also M-Boy's birthday :)
So come for a nice BBQ and some surprises. More details to be announced soon inside the interwebs.

But don't worry, you won't be bored until then either. We'll release another epic album for free here soon, maybe two or three mixes too, so keep liking us.

It's so simple!
